First of all we will tell you about some of the hotels which allow you to stay with dogs in Lincolnshire beginning with The Washingborough Hall Hotel which is a 300 year old Grade II Listed manor house in secluded grounds with free WIFI and parking, a dining room, 20 individually styled rooms, some with 4 posters. There are also many cottages, cabins and B&B’s allowing dogs to stay such as Seaside Cottage in Chapel St Leonards.

 

Which beaches allow dogs in Lincolnshire and do the rules change throughout the year?

There are 5 beaches which allow dogs all year round in Lincolnshire plus various other beaches which are restricted at certain times of the year for dogs. As far as the beaches that do allow dogs all the time we have:

Ingoldmells which is a sandy beach and in very close proximity to Butlins and the Fantasy Island theme park which does allow dogs to enter with the family.

Chapel St Leonards is a popular beach for dog walkers, this sand and shingle beach is close to pubs, amusement arcades and various other facilities which may pique your interest.

Moggs Eye Beach at Huttoft which is close to the town of Mablethorpe is clean, sandy and has 5 star water quality and is perfect for swimming and surfing.

Saltfleetby Theddlethorpe Dunes is a designated National Nature Reserve with tidal sand, sand dunes, mudflats and both fresh and saltwater marshes.

Humberstone Fitties is an excellent sandy beach with dunes situated at the mouth of the Humber Estuary and is a designated conservation area. There are not really any facilities ot speak of here but that is really part of its rural charm
